The Beginning

Hi my name is Barbie Carpenter, I am the owner of Central Valley Pop Up Weddings and this is all 5 feet 4 inches of me. I wanted to start by saying you see those leopard pumps on my feet, well I’ve had those babies for almost 10 years now, true story! I’ve only wore them a handle full of times over the span of the decade, which is why they're still in amazing condition. I don’t plan to get rid of them any time soon either, in style or not I’m rocking them! Well anyways I just really wanted to get that off my chest.

Back to the world of weddings. I started this company shortly after I started my rental company Charming Treasures Event Rental ,which is where we get all the lovely rentals from to fully style each Pop-Up Wedding. I guess I thought starting up one new business wasn't enough! Go big or go home right? Along with the enjoyment of finding new pieces for my rental business, I also love small scale event planning. Besides being able to help couples start their happily every after, styling the weddings is my favorite part of the whole process.

I remember seeing Pop-Up Weddings in all the Major cities and thought this would be perfect for the Central Valley. With the rising cost of weddings and more couples being mindful of where they want to put their money, there was definitely a need. Although Pop-Up Weddings aren't for every couple, they are perfect for the right couple. We give you all the feels of a big traditional wedding, just on an intimate level. You get a professional photographer to capture all the sweet memories, including the unforgettable first dance. Yummy food for you and all your guests. A DJ to help it run extra smooth. Don't forget a cake and cupcakes for you and your guests to enjoy. Did I mention pretty flowers, not just for you but a fully decorated wedding as well. Last but not least an Officiant to make it all legit. All included in a stress free affordable intimate wedding.
